The NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour returns to Seekonk Speedway this weekend for their first and only visit of the year, the J&R Precast 150. The event is currently on schedule for Saturday night, May 31, at 5:30 p.m., when the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour will hit the track for qualifying.

In the event of inclement weather, the rain date for this event will be Sunday, June 1. The event would begin at 2:30 p.m. with NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour qualifying, followed by NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Racing Series heat races at 3 p.m., and the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour feature event at 4 p.m. The NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Series Sport Trucks, Late Models and Sportsman events would follow the Tour.

Seekonk Speedway and NASCAR officials will make a call on the event one way or another on Friday, May 30. At this time, the event remains as scheduled on Saturday with the same timing as originally published. We do encourage race fans to stay tuned to our social media feeds and our website, https://zurl.co/ZelLS, for more information. Tickets are still available for the event online and will be available at the gate on race day. If the event is moved to Sunday, all tickets purchased will be honored on Sunday.

We do look forward to seeing everyone this weekend for our Fast Friday opening and the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour J&R Precast 150!
