NEW EGYPT, NJ – Searching for Sunshine.

The theme of the 2025 season has been rainy Saturdays thus far, with five of the eight point races cancelled due to Mother Nature over the opening two months.

With the month of May gone and the month of June rolling in, the optimism for summer weather and less rain has arrived, along with a full night of racing at New Egypt Speedway this Saturday, June 7.

The Modifieds headline the affair along with the second appearance of the season for the Mid-Atlantic Sprint Car Series (MASS).

Frenchtown, N.J.’s Billy Pauch Jr. claimed his first win at the D-shaped oval in ’25 back on May 24, moving him to third in the Modified point standings. Danny Bouc tops the class entering June by just 12 points over Ryan Godown.

Buddy Schweibinz was victorious the last time MASS visited New Egypt Speedway, coming from the fourth starting position to get by Eddie Wagner and take home the victory.

Also on the docket are the Swagger Factory Apparel Crate Sportsman, Four Cylinders, Northeast Wingless Sprints (NEWS), and the Fastline Performance Rookies.

For the June 7 event, pit gates open at 3 p.m. with the grandstands unlocking at 4 p.m. Hot laps begin at 5:30 p.m. with racing to follow at 6:30 p.m.

Grandstand admission is $23 for Adults, $20 for Seniors, and $15 for Military w/ID and Teens 12-15. Kids 11 and under are admitted FREE.

Pit admission is $40 (w/o a license) and $30 (w/ a license).
