Lancaster Releases Schedule for 37th U.S. Open Weekend

LANCASTER, N.Y. (September 3, 2025) – The 66th season of stock car racing at Lancaster Motorplex will come to a close with the 37thAnnual U.S. Open Weekend September 26-28. The U.S. Open is the longest-running stock car racing event in Western New York. 

With extra distance races, extra contingencies and bonuses will be up for grabs. 

An open practice session will kick off the weekend from 6-9pm on Friday, September 26. Pit gates will open at 3:30pm and the grandstands will open at 6pm with FREE grandstand admission. 

Saturday at the Open will feature the Sportsman, plus Super Stocks, 4 Cylinders on the ¼-mile, and the Mighty TQ Midgets in their 2025 Series Championship event. Pit gates will open at noon, grandstands will open at 2pm, and racing will get underway at 4pAdmission prices are $25 for adults, $20 for seniors and veterans, $15 for students 11-16, and kids 10 and under are admitted free. Pit admission is $45.

Sunday is the 37th U.S. Open for the Tour-Type Modifieds, plus the Late Models, Street Stocks, and the Rusty Diamond Cores Pro 4’s. Pit gates will open at 10am, with practice and the front gates opening at 11:30am. Racing will begin at 1:30pm. Sunday admission is $30 for adults, $25 for seniors and veterans, $15 for students 11-16, and kids 10 and under are admitted free. Pit admission is $45. 

If needed, the rain date for the weekend will be on Sunday, October 5th
