FONDA, NY – The 2026 season at Fonda Speedway is getting started early: on the first day of the new year, in fact.
The Track of Champions has announced Thursday, Jan. 1 as its scheduled opening day with the first-ever ‘Chill Factor’ Enduro race. The 50-lap event will provide a mid-winter racing fix for the notoriously loyal “Fonda faithful” fans.
“After a comeback season for Fonda Speedway, we can hardly wait to get 2026 started,” speedway promoter Brett Deyo said.

Grandstand admission for the ‘Chill Factor’ is $10 at the gate, in cash. Pit admission is $30 for ages 12 and up and $10 for Children 11 and under.

An extreme weather date is set for Saturday, Jan. 3.
Since 1953, the Track of Champions Fonda Speedway has hosted the best in stock car racing. The speedway operates weekly on Saturday nights from April through August plus several special events. Fonda Speedway is located on the Montgomery County Fairgrounds off New York State Thruway Exit No. 28 at 21 S. Bridge Street Fonda, NY 12068.
