Spencer Speedway Dates Headline Latest Release

— Race of Champions Management to Once Again Lease Spencer Speedway —


Williamson, NY (January 26, 2026)
 — Race of Champions management is pleased to announce it will once again lease Spencer Speedway for six (6) events during the 2026 season at the Route 104, half-mile speedplant.

Opening night is scheduled for Friday, May 22, followed by additional events on Friday, June 5; Friday, July 10; Friday, July 31; Friday, August 14; and Friday, September 4, 2026. An open practice is tentatively planned for Friday, May 15.

The 2026 Spencer Speedway schedule will include:

  • Four (4) Race of Champions Sportsman Modified Series events
  • Two (2) Race of Champions Modified Series events
  • Traditional appearances by the Race of Champions Super Stock and Race of Champions Late Model Series

Full division schedules for the Race of Champions “Family of Series” will be released in the near future.


Additional 2026 “Save-The-Date” Announcements

Previously announced 2026 Race of Champions dates include;

  • Holland Speedway
    • Saturday, June 6; Saturday, July 18; Saturday, August 8; Saturday, August 29
  • Evans Mills Speedway
    • Race of Champions Modified Series — Saturday, June 27
  • Lake Erie Speedway
    • Race of Champions Sportsman Modified Series — Saturday, July 11

The Race of Champions Family of Series will then return to Lake Erie Speedway for the traditional Race of Champions Weekend, scheduled for:

  • Thursday, September 10
  • Friday, September 11
  • Saturday, September 12
  • Sunday, September 13 reserved as the inclement weather date

The Race of Champions Family of Series includes:

  • Modifieds; Sportsman Modifieds; Late Models; Super Stocks; Street Stocks; 602 Sportsman Modifieds; FOAR SCORE Four Cylinder Dash Series

“We are always working diligently on our schedule,” said Joe Skotnicki, Race of Champions. “Our schedule is a jigsaw puzzle that’s constantly in motion as circumstances change. We understand this announcement is later than expected, but factors beyond our control dictated the delay. We do our best to accommodate everyone, knowing that some dates may shift. The past season was exciting, and our focus remains on improving our product and giving racers and fans opportunities to compete at premier events throughout the region.”

Additional Race of Champions announcements and full 2026 schedules will be released as dates are finalized.
