Flack Racing – OSWEGO, NY (March 10, 2026) – Oswego Speedway veteran Brian Sobus will make his return to Pathfinder Bank Small Block Super action at Oswego Speedway in 2026 as the pilot of the Flack Racing No. 23.
Currently set for a part-time schedule, Sobus will make his debut for the team in the $1,333 to win Ray Hedger Memorial set for Saturday, May 30 at Oswego Speedway.
Sobus, a two-time winner in the SBS division, is listed as one of the Top 30 drivers in the division’s history and has made his name known as a contender in both the Novelis Supermodified and 350-Supermodified divisions at Oswego.
In 2022, Sobus scored two wins behind the wheel of the No. 45 Top Quality Construction 350-Super, narrowly missing out on the speedway’s track title.
Driving for both Mike Murphy, and himself, in the Supermodified division at Oswego, Sobus scored multiple top five finishes and was always a threat in the Budweiser International Classic 200.
Aside from SBS action, Sobus will also focus on his own No. 79 Modified Sportsman, which he debuted at both Oswego Speedway and Evans Mills Speedway in 2025.
Since 2021, the Flack Racing team has collected 19 wins in the Small Block Super division along with two Oswego Speedway track championships, two Small Block Super Championship Series titles and a pair of Bud Light SBS Classic wins at Oswego.
In that span the team competed in three opening night events at the Steel Palace, collecting wins in 2021, 2022 and 2024.
Alongside Sobus, the core of the Flack Racing team remains with car owner Stephen Flack and car chief Dave Elen managing the race shop.
