PORT ROYAL, PA – Port Royal Speedway management has announced the postponement of this weekend’s ‘Speed Showcase’ event for the Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series (STSS) Fueled By Sunoco.
The call came from speedway promoter Steve O’Neal and his staff on Wednesday after evaluating saturated track conditions that will not allow for racing this Friday and Saturday.
Reschedule date options will be reviewed by speedway management and the Juniata County Agricultural Society. If a suitable date can be found, the event will be made up.
All car entry fees will be refunded by the Short Track Super Series. The speedway will handle refunds for advance tickets.
Attention now turns to N.J.’s Bridgeport Motorsports Park on Sunday, March 22 for the ’60 Over Special’ honoring the late Doug Hoffman to open the NJ Quality Drywall Modified South Region and Belmont’s Garage Sportsman South Region. This event carries a weather date of Saturday.
