Annual “Traverse Family Memorial Street Stock Feature” at Orange County Fair Speedway
MIDDLETOWN, NY (June 28)……..Summer brings heat and that includes hot Big Series 3 racing at the
historic Orange County Fair Speedway in Middletown, New York. Roaring to go on Sunday, July 12, this
year’s third Big Series 3 program of DIRTcar Big-Block Modifieds, Tri-State Dry Wall Sportsman, and
Interstate Batteries of Southern New York Street Stocks will take to the big five-eighths-mile clay
speedway.
In addition, the North East Wingless Sprints (NEWS) will make their first 2026 Orange County
appearance. The entire evening’s program is presented by Steve Dodd Plumbing & Heating.
Highlighting the evening will be the annual Traverse Family Memorial Street Stock Feature race. Based on
previous years, this race has an enhanced purse and, most likely, additional bonus awards.
All divisions will race in qualifying heats to set the fields for their respective feature races.
On July 12, the speedway pits will open at 1:30 pm; the stands, and unique Drive-In will open at 2:00
pm. Race cars will be on the speedway at 4:45 pm, opening ceremonies at 5:45 pm, with the first green flag
set for 6:00 pm.
On race day, Sunday, July 12, General admission Adults $20 stands or Drive-In, Seniors $15, Children 12 and
under $5. Party Deck $30 each minimum of two. Parking on the grounds is free. Drive-In parking $5. Pit
passes $35.
Accredited writers and photographers as well as folks with guest passes are requested to sign in at the
Speedway Office. Media credentials must be applied for by Friday, July 5. Text or email Doug Dulgarian
