FREEDOM 38 & 76 LAP SPONSORSHIPS NOW AVAILABLE
BECHTELSVILLE, PA. – It will be double the action with two racing events this weekend at Grandview Speedway.
The weekend of action will begin on Friday, August 21, as the Outlaw Racing Series Enduro & Vintage cars will be in action joined by the Xcel 600 Modifieds starting at 7 pm.
On Friday night pit gates will open at 2 pm, and grandstand gates will open at 5 pm. Grandstand admission is $10, children ages 12 and under are admitted free, while pit admission is $35 for the Friday event.
Grandview Speedway will then present another NASCAR Local Racing Series Powered by O’Reilly Auto Parts program on Saturday featuring the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment NASCAR Modifieds and Sportsman.
The show on Saturday, August 22 will include qualifying events for both classes leading into a 30-lap T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Modified feature and a 25-lap feature for the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Sportsman.
Saturday’s program will also feature another fan favorite Trivia night, where fans can win prizes after correctly answering questions about Grandview Speedway racing.
Saturday’s program will also see the Hyde & Read Mobile Bookstore set up in the turn one area of the grandstand. Hyde & Read Mobile Bookstore is a new and unique experience for your next event! This includes wineries, bridal showers, Bachelorette parties, breweries, community days and so much more! We have new and gently used books, bookish merchandise and more! If you love books, stop by and visit them Saturday night!
Pit gates will open at 4 pm, with grandstand gates opening at 5:30 pm, warm-ups starting at 6:15 pm, and the first race of the evening getting the green flag at 7:30 pm.
Adult grandstand admission is $20, students 10-15 with ID are $10, while children ages 9 and under are admitted free of charge. Pit admission is $35 for NASCAR members and $45 for non-members.
With the completion of the mid-summer classic Forrest Rogers Memorial, attention will now build to the Freedom weekend of racing featuring the 13th annual T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Freedom 38 Sportsman Championship on September 18, and the 56th annual T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Freedom 76 Modified championship race on September 19.
Lap sponsorships, at $20 per lap, are now available for the September 18-19 running of the Freedom 76 Weekend Championship races. It is a great way to wish your favorite driver good luck or advertise a business during the big race event.
Laps that are sponsored are read on the public address system at the track and posted on social media during the weeks leading up to the big event and on championship race weekend.

Craig Von Dohren raced home to the win in the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Modified feature this past Saturday night, picking up his second win of the current season, while Eddie Strada maintained the top spot in the point standings with another solid top ten feature run coming home in sixth position.
Jeff Strunk just missed a top ten feature finish but remains second in points, while Logan Watt sits third in points after charging from twenty-second to eleventh in the feature event, with Anthony Perrego now fourth in points after scoring a fifth-place feature run, and Louden Reimert sits fifth in points after collecting a tenth-place feature run.

The T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Sportsman division had a wild feature on Saturday night with Alex Bartorillo scoring his second win of the season.
Joe Toth, Colin Cox, and Addison Meitzler were all involved in an early race mishap and had to restart the feature at the rear of the field, causing all three to miss out on a top ten feature finish, but they still maintain the top three positions in the current point standings.
Teague Miller scored a seventh-place feature finish and Jesse Landis a twelfth-place feature run on Saturday night to hold down the fourth and fifth positions in the current point standings.
