Racing Returns June 27th with NAPA Night Presented By VanWickle Auto Supply
Wall Township, NJ – After suffering electrical damage during a rogue wind storm on Thursday afternoon, Wall Stadium management has been forced to cancel Saturday night, June 20th’s racing events.
“Thursday’s wind storm caused more damage to the track infrastructure and we need to make some repairs and upgrades. The place is very old and we’ve had numerous issues that the old bubble gum method used in the past will not work anymore. We will be 100% back in action and roaring next weekend,” said Wall Stadium President of Racing Operations Pete Maletto.
“This is painful, taking a weekend off during the height of the season is a tough call especially when the weather is finally looking good, but we have to look at the big picture. Resolving these costly issues once and for all guarantees the problem free show you all deserve.”
The Wall Stadium Sunday Series will still be in action on Sunday the 21st.
Wall Stadium will be back in action next Saturday, June 27th with NAPA Night Presented By VanWIckle Auto Supply. The NASCAR Modifieds will headline the card along with the NASCAR Sportsman, O’Shea’s Auto Repair Factory Stocks, Surf Side Collision 4-Cylinders and Natural Design Co. INEX Legend Cars.
It will also be the popular party in the pits where the pit area will be opened for fans to meet their favorite driver prior to racing starting.
Pit gates open at 1pm, grandstands at 3pm with racing beginning at 6pm. Adults (18+) are $25, Seniors (62+) and Military w/ID are $20, Children (7-17) are $15 with kids 6 and under being FREE!
