The Chase is Back in New England: NASCAR Weekend at “The Magic Mile” Returns to September in 2027

  • The NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series will return to New Hampshire Motor Speedway Sept. 25-26, 2027 to compete in The Chase for the championship.
  • Race fans attending the Aug. 21-23, 2026 NASCAR weekend at New Hampshire Motor Speedway will have the first opportunity to lock in their tickets and camping for the Sept. 25-26, 2027 NASCAR Chase weekend.
  • Tickets for New England’s only NASCAR Cup Series weekend (Aug. 21-23, 2026), which also includes the CRAFTSMAN Truck Series and Whelen Modified Tour, are available for purchase at NHMS.com.

LOUDON, N.H. – The 2027 NASCAR national series schedule includes a Sept. 25-26 stop at New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS). New England’s only NASCAR Cup Series (NCS) race on Sunday, Sept. 26 will be the third race in The Chase, and the Team EJP 175 NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series (NCTS) race on Saturday, Sept. 25 will be the first race in The Chase.

“We are thrilled to return to September and The Chase next year,” said New Hampshire Motor Speedway Executive Vice President and General Manager David McGrath. “Last September, New England race fans showed up in sold-out fashion. Fall racing in New England is a win for race fans, especially all of our campers, and I know the drivers love coming to this area in September as well.”

TV and radio broadcast start times, network affiliations, additional racing action and entertainment will be announced at a later date.

Race fans who attend the Aug. 21-23, 2026 NASCAR weekend, featuring the NCS Dollar Tree 301, the NCTS Team EJP 175 and NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour (NWMT) Mohegan Sun 100, will be the first ones able to lock in their favorite seats and campsites for NHMS’s Sept. 25-26, 2027 NASCAR Chase weekend by renewing while they’re on site later this month.
