FREEDOM 76 HONORING THERESA ROGERS PAYING $35,531 TO WIN SET FOR SEPTEMBER 19
BECHTELSVILLE, PA. – The 2026 Track Champions will be decided this Saturday night at Grandview Speedway!
The chase for the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Modified & Sportsman track titles began on April 4th, then survived numerous weekend rain outs during Spring and early Summer and has since been charging toward the finish the last several weeks, with the final points night to decide who will be wearing the Champion’s crowns this Saturday night.
The T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Modified division sees Eddie Strada leading the point standings into this Saturday night’s program, with just an 80-point lead over second place Logan Watt and a 110-point advantage over third place Jeff Strunk, with these three drivers being the only ones able to capture the championship.
The T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Sportsman division also sees three drivers with a shot at the championship led by Joe Toth entering this Saturday’s point finale, who has a 54-point advantage over second place Addison Meitzler and a 63-point advantage over last year’s Champion Colin Cox who currently sits third in the point standings.
The racing program on Championship Night this Saturday, September 12 will be another NASCAR Local Racing Series Powered by O’Reilly Auto Parts program that will feature the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Modifieds & Sportsman along with the Outlaw Racing Series Vintage cars participating in qualifying events leading into a 30-lap T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Modified feature, a 25-lap feature for the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Sportsman, plus a 15-lap main event for the Outlaw Racing Series Vintage cars.
Pit gates will open at 3:30 pm, with grandstand gates opening at 5 pm, warm-ups starting at 5:45 pm, and the first race of the evening getting the green flag at 7 pm.
Adult grandstand admission is $20, students 10-15 with ID are $10, while children ages 9 and under are admitted free of charge. Pit admission is $35 for NASCAR members and $45 for non-members.
Championship night will also be PEDIATRIC CANCER AWARENESS NIGHT at Grandview Speedway! Come out, say hello, meet the drivers, enjoy the races, and help us show our pediatric cancer warriors and their families that NO ONE FIGHTS ALONE. Representatives from the Leo’s League Pediatric Cancer Fund will be on hand on Saturday night.
In addition to the racing action this Saturday night, prior to the racing program will be the final weekly meet and greet this season, presented by Low-Down Entertainment and hosted by Brittany Huber and Jennifer Umbenhauer. This week’s drivers who will be on hand with their cars will be Ryan & Logan Watt along with Colin Cox.
The pre-race Meet and Greet is held in the main gate area of the grandstand from 4:30 to 5:30 pm and is a great time for fans to meet the drivers in person, collect some autographs, take photos, and talk racing with their favorite drivers before the night’s program gets underway. Also included in the Meet & Greet will be Little Miss Grandview Alaina Steigerwalt with crayons and coloring pages for the kids!
Also, on Saturday night the LDE Meet & Greet team will be picking the winning ticket in the raffle for the official Lown-Down Entertainment Meet & Greet banner. The winner need not be present to win, and the winning number will also be posted on the LDE Facebook page.
In addition, the LDE Meet & Greet team will be preparing mini checks identical to the larger ones the race winners receive, for a randomly selected youngster to win on both Friday, September 18 for the Freedom 38, and again on Saturday, September 19 for the Freedom 76!
The 56th annual Freedom 76 weekend of racing is set to go next week starting with the Freedom 38 Sportsman Championship on Friday, September 18, and the Freedom 76 Modified Championship on Saturday, September 19, with a rain date of September 26.
The Freedom 76 weekend begins on Friday, September 18 with the 13th annual Freedom 38 Sportsman Championship. The race program will follow the Freedom 76 race format with qualifying heats, consolations, Roy Miller II of Keller Williams Real Estate $500 to win cash dash, the Patriot 20, all leading up to the 38-lap Championship feature event, plus practice time for 358 Modified drivers wishing to participate in the Freedom 76.
Saturday, September 19 will feature the 56th annual Freedom 76 Modified Championship honoring the late track owner Theresa Rogers, paying the race winner an outstanding $35,531! The program includes qualifying heats, consolations, GT Radiator Repair $1000 to win cash dash, and the Schaeffer’s Motorsports Minuteman 20, all leading up to the 76-lap Championship main event.
Drivers are reminded that rules and procedures as well as entry forms for the 56th annual Freedom 76 are available on the Grandview Speedway website at www.grandviewspeedway.com under the Freedom 76 tab.
Those wishing to camp at the Speedway for the Freedom weekend of racing please note: All campers & tents must be parked and set up in the fourth turn area only, while campers can begin to enter the grounds in the fourth turn area on Saturday, September 12 and remain there until the 19th. However, because there are no hookups, sleeping in the campers can only take place on September 17-19.

Lap sponsorships are a great way to wish your favorite driver good luck or advertise a business during the big Championship race weekend on September 18-19, and all lap sponsorships are read on the public address system at the track and posted on social media each week leading up to the big event and on championship race weekend.
Following last Saturday night’s program, the count remains at ten different drivers who have been to victory lane in the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Modified division, with Craig Von Dohren, Brett Kressley, Louden Reimert and Jeff Strunk (which includes a Thunder on the Hill series win) as three-time winners, with Jared Umbenhauer scoring his second win of the season last Saturday night, while Duane Howard, Ryan Watt, Anthony Perrego, Tim Buckwalter, and Billy Pauch Jr. (Thunder Series win) all have a single victory, and they will be joined by over three dozen drivers looking to score a feature event win this Saturday night.
Following last Saturday’s program, the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Sportsman division saw the feature winner’s list increase to thirteen different winners with Xavier Sprague scoring his first career win, while Addison Meitzler, Alex Bartorillo, Johnny Fugelo and Brad Brightbill all have two wins each, while Bryce Bashore, Mike Toth, Mark Mohr, Jesse Landis, Decker Swinehart, Brett Gilmore, Brett Grim, and Matthew Laubach all have one feature victory, and they will be joined by over three dozen drivers looking for a Grandview feature win on Saturday night.
