Fans Who Donate to the Foundation Will Be Featured on Joey Gase’s No. 52 Chevrolet at the NASCAR Xfinity Series Lakes Region 200 on July 16

LC logo New York, June 6, 2016 – Today, The Lisa Colagrossi Foundation (TLCF), a registered 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to creating awareness and education for the signs, symptoms and risk factors for brain aneurysms, announced its partnership with Joey Gase’s No. 52 Chevrolet for the NASCAR Xfinity Series Lakes Region 200 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Supporters of the cause who donate $50, $75 or $100 to TLCF leading up to the July 16 race will have the opportunity for a name, photo or both, respectively, to be featured on Gase’s Camaro on race day.

Todd Crawford, TLCF founder, and Gase share a deep personal connection to the cause. Crawford founded TLCF in September 2015 in honor of his wife Lisa Colagrossi, a television journalist for ABC News whose passing from a ruptured brain aneurysm made world news headlines in March of the same year. Decorated NASCAR driver Joey Gase lost his mother Mary Jo to a brain aneurysm in April 2011 and has since become a strong advocate for organ donation, appearing at more than 100 events throughout the country. At this year’s Lakes Region 200, together they hope to help save lives by creating awareness for the cause and raising funds for enhanced research in the race to prevent aneurysms.

“Joey and I are among the millions of people and families whose lives have been drastically changed forever due to the devastating effects of brain aneurysms,” said Todd Crawford, founder of The Lisa Colagrossi Foundation. “TLCF is privileged to receive Joey’s pledge to help us raise awareness for this disease and the placement of our brand on his car for this year’s Lakes Region 200 is just the start of a longer term relationship. This partnership is an industry-first for brain aneurysms and we wanted to give our supporters, fans and those affected by brain aneurysms the opportunity to ride along with us and help us make history as we promote awareness of this important issue.”

To have a name ($50), photo ($75) or both ($100) included on the No. 52 car during NASCAR Xfinity Series Lakes Region 200 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, donations must be made to the Lisa Colagrossi Foundation by June 30. All proceeds will go toward the fight against brain aneurysms, including providing enhanced awareness, early diagnosis, prevention and treatment. To donate, please visit:  and email the name, JPEG photo or both to be featured on Gase’s car.

“I am very excited to be teaming up with The Lisa Colagrossi Foundation,” said Joey Gase. “Before my mother’s passing, I knew very little about brain aneurysms and organ donation. I’ve since learned how important both awareness and research are for brain aneurysms and organ donation. In the last couple of years, we have been able to make big strides in raising awareness for organ donation using my NASCAR platform and I am excited to say we will now be able to do the same for brain aneurysm awareness with TLCF. On July 16, I will be racing for my mom and Lisa, who both died from a rupture and were organ donors, in addition to the millions of other victims, survivors and anyone else ready to join us in the race to prevent brain aneurysms.”

The Lisa Colagrossi Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization recognized as the leader in raising awareness for brain aneurysms. The Foundation’s primary purpose is to create awareness and education for the signs, symptoms and risk factors for brain aneurysms while enhancing research and support initiatives that will help save lives. The organization encourages programs that promote early detection and innovative research from world-renowned neurologists in the quest to find more effective methods in the areas of prevention and treatment. TLCF is a private funder of brain aneurysm programs focused in the areas of awareness, education, research and support throughout the United States.

David Ragan Scores Top-25 at Pocono

HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. (June 6, 2016) – David Ragan, driver of the No. 23 Dr Pepper Toyota Camry, scored a top-25 finishing following the Axalta 400 at Pocono Raceway.
“It was a solid day for our Dr Pepper team,” Ragan said following the Axalta 400. “We were able to stay on the lead lap all day and learned a lot that we can use when we come back here in August.”
After rain postponed the race to Monday afternoon, Ragan and crew chief Patrick Donahue worked on dialing in the Dr Pepper Camry which was loose early in the race.
Stretching their fuel mileage until the end of the race, Ragan was able to pick up positions as the final laps ticked away. As the checkered flag flew, Ragan brought home a 23rd place finish for the No.23 BK Racing team.
Ragan’s finish at Pocono adds to BK Racing’s top-25 tally, which now stands at seven for the season.
Ragan and the No. 23 team now head to Michigan International Speedway for the FireKeepers Casino 400 on Sunday, June 12.
