(St. John’s, PA) Jason Harman strikes gold for the first time in the John Blewett Inc., Primary Service Group 602 Crate Modifieds. Kenzie Adams started on the pole for the originally scheduled thirty lap event, but Harman would overtake her to lead lap one. A red flag would be waved several laps later for a multi-car piled up in turn one, including Earl Paules, Peyton Arthofer and Brody George, who was making his first start at the Evergreen. Harman would continue to show the way, but after cautions and another red flag slowed the pace, officials decided to shorten the event to 25 laps. Neil Rutt III and Paulie Hartwig III found their way into the second and third position late in the race and challenged for the top spot. But with one to go the field would get bunched back up for a green-white-checkered finish. Harman rocketed off the restart with Hartwig III in tow, but coming into turn three, Paul Hartwig III and Rutt III would make slight contact going for the third position. Adams would split the two and drag race Hartwig Jr. back the line and cross for the third spot. Hartwig Jr. and Rick Smith rounded out the top five.

Nick Ross earned his third win of the season in Late Model action. Todd Cooper started from the pole and led the first seventeen laps of the feature. Cooper continued to look strong, unfortunately coming off of turn two, Ross got a run down the backstretch going into turn three. Ross made contact with Cooper sending him around. Cooper and Ross both went to the rear of the field. Just over thirteen laps remained as Geno Steigerwalt now led for the first time this season. Roger Maynor pressured the leader, often tapping just a few times trying to get through. As the two raged war, Ross began climbing from 8th with seven laps remaining to 3rd as a timely caution regrouped the field. Ross then began hounding Steigerwalt for the lead eventually moving underneath to take his 3rd straight late model win and remains undefeated. Geno Steigerwalt, Roger Maynor, Marc Aigeldinger and Micah Adams rounded out the top 5.

In the street stocks, Mike Pollack raced his rival and co-point leader Ken Erney to earn his first win of the season. Pollack made a daring move going into turn one as race leader Jayden Harman sprang into action blocking the Pollack machine into the rumble strips. Pollack was then able to drive away with the win and move into the point lead.

Makayla Kohler grabbed her 3rd Novice win of the season, passing Ella Sones late in the event padding her point lead in the process.
