Busch, Beattie, Beard and Harrell were among the names of winners Sunday afternoon at Mountain Creek Speedway. As the season is winding down with just two points races to go the excitement on the track hasn’t stopped. Slate Harrell and Brylon Earnhardt, great grandson of Dale Earnhardt swapped the lead early in the Cadet A-main. Harrell would eventually take the top spot and start to pulling away in the waining stages of the twelve lap main event to take the win. Earnhardt settled for second with Brantley Lamb, Caden Outz and Wyatt Linker completing the top five.
Brexton Busch was able to wrestle the lead away from polesitter, Stetson Swink in the early stages of the beginner Box Stock A-main. From there, Busch put it on cruise control and pulled away from second place. At the line Swink had to settle for second, Jackson Darnell drove from sixth to third while Nolan Fohr and Adalynn Owens rounded out the top five. Fast qualifier, Payton Johnson would bring the field to green in the Box Stock A-main but it was Karter Beattie, fresh off a win in the Midwest took the lead away from Johnson and continued to open the gap until the checkered flag fell. Johnson was second after a spirited battle with Zoey Smith who finished third. Brexton Busch, pulling double duty was fourth with Harry Stallard finishing fifth.
Dylan Beard continued to extend his point lead in the Yamaha 450 division. He took a commanding win while the action was happening behind him. Not even a late race caution for the stopped car of Nick Hatton could give Tyler Conover, who tried feverishly to keep Beard in his sights an opportunity to take the lead. Conover would overdo it with less than five laps remaining, allowing Sam Miller to slip past for second. Conover would cross the line in third while Richard Miller and Dean Bush completed the top five.
