VERNON, NY – Back at it!
Utica-Rome Speedway returns to action this Friday night, June 2 with a complete NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series program.
The Friendly Family of Dealerships of Hamilton & Geneva present a complete program of 3 Bastards Brewing Modifieds, Worthington Industries Crate 602 Sportsman, Next Generation GraphiX Pro Stocks, Fastline Performance Limited Sportsman and Fonda Fair Four Cylinders on the half-mile oval plus the Senior Services Inc. Allstar Slingshots and Junior Slingshots on the inner oval.
Last Friday night’s event at the Home of Heroes produced a pair of first-time Modified winners in JaMike Sowle and Alex Payne during the Twin 20s program.
Others reaching Victory Lane included Matt Janczuk (Crate 602 Sportsman), Andy Graves (Pro Stock), Carson Rothwell (Limited Sportsman), Nathan Power (Dual Cam Four Cylinder) and Wayne Russell Jr. (Single Cam Four Cylinder).
Gates open at 5 p.m., with hot laps at 6:45 p.m. and racing at 7:30 p.m.
Grandstand admission is $15. Seniors (ages 65 and up) pay $13. Kids 11 and under are FREE.
Pit admission is $40 (ages 13 and up), $35 (NASCAR or Utica-Rome members), $10 for Kids (ages 6-12) and $2 for Children ages 5 and under.
Friday’s event – and all Utica-Rome 2023 races – will be broadcast live on FloRacing (www.floracing.tv) as part of the $150 annual subscription.
