Mountain Creek Speedway owners and promoters, Adam and Rebecca Stewart confirmed this weekend a 73 lap, $173 to win, Predator 375 race Saturday, November 18th at the Chad Bush Clash. This decision comes from the success of last year’s event and will be one of the headlining races for the Saturday flat kart racers. The significance of the 73 laps being Chad Bush ran #73 on his race cars for most of his career.
“Last year’s race went so well we wanted to do it again.” Said track owner, Adam Stewart. “We had almost thirty karts last year and we hope to have that much again this year.” Last year’s race saw Ashton Johnson go to victory lane and pocket the $175 dollar prize. This year’s event promises to be bigger and better with added sponsors stepping up to support the event. “A race like this would’ve been right up Chad’s alley.” Said speedway communications director, Derek Pernesiglio. “Chad was a working man’s type of guy, and the Predator division is the working man’s type of kart racing. “I was very impressed with last year’s race and will be looking for to this year’s race with great anticipation.”
The two-day weekend will see upwards of seventeen divisions of racing take to the speedway. Businesses are also joining in with smaller sponsorships of each division racing in the Chad Bush Clash. The third annual Chad Bush clash begins Saturday, November 18th with flat kart and mini modified racing and concludes Sunday, November 19th with outlaw kart and micro sprint racing on the 1/6 mile “Cage at the Creek.” Both days of racing will be streamed live on www.mountaincreekspeedway.tv and Dirt2 Media.
