N. Woodstock, NH — In the weeks leading up to the annual Banquet of Champions, we will be having a 2023 Season Celebration for each of the six divisions that call White Mountain Motorsports Park home throughout the summer. Following the Dad’s 4 By Tool & Supply Kids Division, Wayne’s Market Dwarf Cars, Ammonoosuc Asphalt Mini Late Models and Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank Strictly Stock Minis, it’s time to celebrate one of the Northeast’s most historic divisions; the Fisher Auto Parts Flying Tigers!

The Flying Tigers started the season excited, with new deadline sponsors in the combined efforts of the Fisher Auto Parts stores in Littleton, New Hampshire and St. Johnsbury, Vermont! The Fisher Auto Parts Flying Tigers were all Brandon Gray in 2023. The unstoppable force hauling over from East Thetford, Vermont won an incredible eight events throughout the season, including five in a row to start the year. Through it all, he took his first White Mountain championship over some of the division’s top competitors.

While Gray also swept all three extra-distance Central Asphalt Paving Triple Crown events, Thunder Road invaders Logan Powers, Mike MacAskill and Cam Gadue made their presence known, all of them earning top-10 finishes in Triple Crown competition. Both MacAskill and Powers were able to bring home podium trophies.

John Donahue, longtime Northeast pilot, started behind the wheel of son Stephen’s Tiger on a race-by-race basis to start the season before a chance at the title saw the elder Donahue take the wheel all season long. After three runner-up finishes in a row in June and July, John Donahue took his lone win of the season as a Midseason Champion but ultimately took nine podium trophies back home to Graniteville.

Marshfield, Vermont’s Matt Potter took a pair of hard-earned wins in a part-time season as he balanced being chief wrench on a pair of Dads 4 By Kids Divisions machines piloted by daughters Kylee and Madison. Longtime standout Colin Cornell joined Gray in tackling both Thunder Road and White Mountain during the 2023 season and was able to earn a win in September while part-timer Jason Woodard also stole a September win.

White Mountain Motorsports Park will officially wrap up the 2023 stock car racing season with the annual Banquet of Champions on Saturday, December 2 at the Littleton Elks Club. The 2024 Schedule of Events updated license forms and rule books for the 2024 season have been released by the ACT office.
