ACCORD, NY – Half the size, twice the action.

Following the Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series (STSS) Fueled By Sunoco trip to the sprawling half-mile of Delaware International Speedway in Delmar, Del., the tour treks to one of New York’s toughest bullrings at Accord Speedway.

The tight confines quarter-mile oval hosts the Opening Round of the River Valley Builders North Region and Round No. 4 of the Ollie’s Overall Championship on Tuesday, May 14.

The 50-lap affair will pay the most in the event’s history, a whopping $9,090.90 is on the line, as the ‘Battle at the Bullring’ honors one of Accord’s most iconic drivers: Barry Davis.

Davis’s number 9D will be heavily featured throughout the night, including thousands of dollars in bonuses and awards that will be up for grabs over the course of the event.

While the event serves as the North Region lid lifter, St. Catherines, Ontario, Canada’s Mat Williamson heads into the event as the Ollie’s Overall point leader. ‘Money Mat’ is the winner of the 2022 ‘Battle at the Bulling’ at Accord.

The 2024 ‘Battle at the Bullring’ serves as the 10th STSS-sanctioned event and 11th running at Gary Palmer’s oval in the Catskill Mountains.

The STSS Crate 602 Sportsman join the affair for the opening round of the Madsen Overhead Doors North Region. The 25-lap affair pays $1,500-to-win in the North Region opener.
