BROOKFIELD, NY – It’s Brookfield Baby!

The 2024 season is set for Brookfield Speedway – located on New York’s historic Madison County Fairgrounds – with five race events preceded by an Open Practice on the tight bullring.

Sunday, May 19 sees the first on-track action with an open practice session. Pit gates open at 5 p.m. with practice 6:30-9:30 p.m.

Grandstand admission is FREE for Open Practice. Pit admission is $30 (ages 13 and up), $10 Kids (ages 6-12) and $2 Children (ages 5 and under).

Racing gets underway the following Sunday – May 26 – with the second annual Fast Cars & Freedom featuring the Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series (STSS) Fueled By Sunoco Madsen Overhead Doors Crate 602 Sportsman North Region in a 25-lap main offering a minimum of $1,500 to the winner.

Also on the program: Swagger Factory Apparel Limited Sportsman, White’s Welding Pro Stock/Street Stocks, Anderson Towing & Recovery Four Cylinders, Allstar Slingshots & Junior Slingshots.

Gates open at 4 p.m., with hot laps at 6 p.m. and racing at 7 p.m.

Grandstand admission is $15. Kids 8 and under are FREE. Pit admission is $40. Kids (ages 6-12) pay $10. Children 5 and under pay $2.

A rain date of Monday, May 27 is in place.

A pre-season kickoff is set for Scenic View Campground in West Winfield, N.Y., Wednesday, May 22 from 5-9 p.m. featuring race cars on display, food/drink specials, discount tickets, giveaways and more.
