(Butler Township, PA 8-17-24): With just about every weather app showing nothing but rain throughout the day on Sunday, Evergreen Raceway has pulled the plug a day in advance on their scheduled Sunday afternoon program of racing.

It is unfortunate too, as the Tour Type Modifieds were set to compete in a 50-lap feature along with Street Stocks, Four Cylinders, Novice’s and the Rotten-and-Forgotten.

Moving forward Evergreen Drift Presented by Sinister Drift will take to the track Friday, Saturday and Sunday, August 23-25.

Stock cars return on Saturday evening, August 31 for Pack the Track Night with an $8 grandstand general admission. The featured classes will be the DW Machine & Fabricating Late Models, Harry’s U-Pull-It Street Stocks, Himmer Graphics Four Cylinders and the Rotten-and-Forgotten. Racing begins at 7:00 pm.

Earlier that day from noon to 3:00 pm will be the Evergreen Raceway 2-Seater Ride-along for fans who would like to experience riding in a real race car.

The month of September will kick off with another evening show on Friday, September 6 which will included the 602 Crate Modifieds, Street Stocks, Four Cylinders and Rotten-and-Forgotten.
