N. Woodstock, NH — After a successful one-off partnership in 2024, Bar Harbor Bank & Trust has signed on for another two seasons to throw their support behind the Fall Foliage 200 on Saturday, September 13. The American-Canadian Tour autumn throwdown has become one of the most popular events at White Mountain Motorsports Park in the last several years and Bar Harbor Bank & Trust got the full view of that excitement last September, prompting their interest in continuing their support!
In 2025, the Bar Harbor Bank & Trust Fall Foliage 200 will celebrate its 47th running after starting out as an end-of-season, extra distance special at the beloved Catamount Stadium in Milton, Vermont back in 1972. Once a hotly contested showdown between North and South on the old-school NASCAR Late Model Sportsman circuit up and down the East Coast, the Fall Foliage evolved into a big money 300-lapper in the early days of the American-Canadian Tour before its current 200-lap format was adopted.
Such icons of the sport as Don Biderman, L.D. Ottinger and Butch Lindley took early wins, but it was regional heroes like Robbie Crouch, Jean-Paul Cabana, Bobby Dragon, Patrick Laperle and Joey Polewarczyk Jr. that staked career claims on the iconic event over the years. Likewise, Bar Harbor Bank & Trust has grown as an icon in Northern New England with branches spread throughout Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont!
“Bar Harbor Bank & Trust is proud to once again sponsor the Fall Foliage 200 at White Mountain Motorsports Park,” said Bar Harbor’s Chief Marketing Officer Joseph Schmitt. “It’s a day filled with thrilling racing, the best drivers, a beautiful setting, and passionate fans. We’re honored to support such an exciting event and look forward to seeing you all at a local track soon.”
“We’re glad to have Bar Harbor Bank & Trust jump back on board with us at White Mountain and the ACT Tour,” said WMMP and ACT managing partner Cris Michaud. “They were thrilled with last year’s event and we expect the 47th and 48th Fall Foliage 200-lappers will be just as exciting for them, the fans and the drivers!”
The 47th Fall Foliage 200 presented by Bar Harbor Bank & Trust will light up the White Mountain Motorsports Park highbanks on Saturday, September 13. Headlined by the 200-lap affair for the American-Canadian Tour that also serves as the championship event for the Brookside Equipment Sales Triple Crown, the Fisher Auto Parts Flying Tigers, Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank Strictly Stock Minis, Ammonoosuc Asphalt Mini Late Models and Dad’s 4 By Tool & Supply Kids Division!
