Barre, VT — Now three-for-three with weather interrupting the start of the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour, the regional stars of this historic short track series are ready to invade Epping, New Hampshire’s Star Speedway for the Coastal Clash 150 this Sunday, May 11. Race #2 of the fourteen scheduled for the 2025 season is also the first stage of the Brookside Equipment Sales Triple Crown with a season-long point fund in excess of $4,000 ready for lift-off this Sunday!
All eyes are sure to be trained on defending Brookside Equipment Sales Triple Crown champion Erick Sands this Sunday. Star Speedway is the Derry, New Hampshire-driver’s hometrack where he’s taken weekly track wins in the past, but now eyes the $5,000 Coastal Clash 150 win. Likewise, Candia’s Jimmy Renfrew Jr. would love nothing more than to successfully defend his win from one year ago while point leader Gabe Brown is looking for redemption after a dominant performance fell out of his grip last time around.
Massachusetts hot-shoe Derek Gluchacki has finished third in Brookside Equipment Sales Triple Crown in all three years of the program but Star Speedway is a facility that the Kulwicki Driver Development Program (KDDP) finalist does not have much seat time in. Star may be his only issue though, with hometrack Seekonk Speedway and White Mountain Motorsports Park making the remainder of the Triple Crown schedule, Gluchacki’s odds may just be on the up-and-up if he can pull off a good run on Sunday.
On the flip side of that coin is Center Conway, New Hampshire’s D.J. Shaw. Shaw has taken two of three Brookside Equipment Sales Triple Crown championships since the mini-series’ inception in 2022 and would love nothing more than to wind up back on top in ’25.
A strong contingent of part-time and hometrack-defending drivers are also on board for Sunday’s Mother’s Day weekend special at Star. Ryan Hewins, Brandon Barker in the Sullivan Construction #0NH and Joey Doiron in the RSB #21ME machine bring some Vacationland magic to New Hampshire’s seacoast while defending track champion Connor McDougal, Nathan Leclair and Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour rookie Justin Storace are looking to bring home a strong run for the locals.
The Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour returns to Star Speedway this Sunday, May 11 for the Coastal Clash 150. Alongside the Pro All Stars Series Super Late Model 150, New England Supermodified Series and PASS Modifieds, the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour Coastal Clash 150 will also serve as Round #1 in the Brookside Equipment Sales Triple Crown! Post Time Sunday is set for 1:15pm, visit www.proallstarsseries.com for ticketing information and full event schedule.
