The Zeigler ’67 was established in 2023 as a tribute to Bob and Dick Zeigler, the founding brothers of Evans Mills Speedway. The track began operations in 1967 after several years of construction. Hailing from Boonville, NY, the Zeigler brothers would spend their days working at the family garage, then make the trip to Evans Mills each evening to contribute to building the track. The Zeigler family played a key role in launching the event, offering strong support for both the race and its competitors through bonus prizes and additional payouts. Numerous businesses from the Boonville area also back the event by sponsoring generous cash awards. Kreig Heroth captured the victory in the inaugural Zeigler ’67, while Bryan Sherwood claimed the win in its second running.

Thomas Trash Service and Excavation has been in service for over 40 years. The Thomas family has provided reliable excavation and trash services across Jefferson, Lewis, and St. Lawrence counties.
