Barre, VT — Over forty Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour teams were on the Thunder Road property at the originally scheduled date on May 3 and 4 with thirty-two teams able to make the return trip back to the Nation’s Site of Excitement for the rain-delayed 27th annual Community Bank 150 on Sunday, June 1.

Four qualifying heats and two consolation rounds set the grid for Sunday’s 150-lapper. A pair of former Community Bank 150 winners and Thunder Road champions Jason Corliss and Christopher Pelkey, along with two-time Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour champion D.J. Shaw and Vermont Milk Bowl winner Marcel Gravel took heat race qualifying wins while longtime Thunder Road star Cody Blake and former Quebec champion Jonathan Bouvrette split the two consi wins.

By earning a +5 handicap in ACT Plus/Minus qualifying procedures, defending Serie ACT Quebec champion Raphael Lessard led the field to green with Derry, New Hampshire standout Erick Sands to his outside. Lessard showed the way early but it was Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour sophomore Kaiden Fisher who beat him out on the lap 19 restart after Remi Perreault’s spin in turns three and four. Fisher’s lead was short lived as Lessard made his way back by the defending Thunder Road champion and grew a wide gap prior to the lap ninety-five spin for D.J. Shaw in turn two.

It was here again that Fisher made his move to the point, showing the way as Lessard and Pelkey fought hard to chase after him. By crossing under the checkered flags, Kaiden Fisher would become the youngest winner in Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour history at 17 years, 8 months and 6 days, beating out Ryan Moore’s Oxford Plains Speedway win in 2001 when the Scarborough driver was 17 years, 9 months and 9 days.

Christopher Pelkey settled for second across the line while Raphael Lessard continued his top-10 finishing streak and earned his first top-5 of 2025. Jesse Switser also kept his top-ten streak active with a fourth place run followed by Marcel Gravel in fifth. Corliss and Sands wound up sixth and seventh while Thunder Road teamster Brandon Lanphear took home eighth. Quebec’s Alexendre ‘Fireball’ Tardif hard-charged the #31CT to a ninth-place finish while Blake rounded out the top five.

The Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour returns to some more familiar territory this Saturday, June 7 with the Kancamagus 150 at New Hampshire’s White Mountain Motorsports Park. The much anticipated showdown is the first of three doubleheader events in conjunction with the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series while the Fisher Auto Parts Flying Tigers and Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank Strictly Stock Minis will also be in attendance. All the racing action starts at 5:00pm on Saturday, June 7 at White Mountain Motorsports Park!
