(Stafford Springs, CT)—With the racing season nearing its halfway point at Stafford Motor Speedway, Limited Late Model driver Adrien Paradis, III and the #19 CSB Communications team are still in search of their first win of 2025. Paradis is looking at this Friday night’s Riley Generators Limited Late Model 30 as a great opportunity to capture his first win of 2025. Paradis’ best finish this season has been a pair of fourth place finishes to open the season, but with his car being a long-run car, he is feeling confident going into the biggest race of the season for the Limited Late Model division.
“I’m feeling good about the race,” said Paradis. “I finished second in the 2023 extra distance race in the Limited Late Model division and I’m looking to do that again or go one spot better. I like the extra distance races because my car seems to come to me late in the race so the extra 10 laps should help us out. Usually we struggle to get some heat in the tires right away and then the car handles better towards the end of the race, but with only 20 lap races we often run out of laps to get to the front. We’ve been struggling a little bit with the car, that’s why we haven’t made the podium yet this season. We’re going to try something different with the car this Friday and hopefully we can get a win. If the new setup we’re trying works, I think we can be there.”
Paradis is one of only 3 drivers to have recorded a top-10 finish in each of the first 7 races and he currently sits in a tie for fourth place in the standings, only 6 points behind Travis Hydar and Jason Lafayette, who are tied at the top of the points.
“I’m pretty happy with the season so far,” said Paradis. “I would have liked to have seen a win by now but we’re looking more towards being consistent and finishing races because championships are won by finishing races. It’s been proven that you can have a lot of wins and still not win the championship so we’re trying to stay up front every week and put the car back in the trailer in one piece at the end of the night.”
In order for Paradis to capture his first win, he will have to overcome a strong field of cars that saw 9 winners in the first 9 races of the 2024 season and has seen 5 winners in 5 races this season since Matt Clement went back to back and won the first 2 races of the season.
“It’s very tough in the Limited Late Model division,” said Paradis. “You just have to look at all the different winners we’ve had. Anyone can win a race in the Limited division and we’re all so close that the competition is very stout. We have two rookie drivers that are having great seasons and are leading the points. Jason [Lafayette] and Travis [Hydar] were both tough to beat in the Street Stock division and they’ve carried that over to the Limited Late Model division this season.”
In addition to awarding the maximum amount of points for that night, a win in the biggest Limited Late Model race of the season would give Paradis and the #19 team some good momentum as they kick off the second half of the 2025 season and look to stay in championship contention.
“A win in this race would be huge for us,” said Paradis. “In all my racing career I’ve never won a big race like a Sizzler®, a Fall Final, or an extra distance race so that would be a nice thing to put on the racing resume. It would definitely be a feather in our caps. A win would give us momentum and I’m trying to accumulate as many points as I can so we can be there at the end of the season. Thanks to my sponsors CSB Communications, Smedley Crane and Rigging, D & F Wraps, RaceChoice.com, JSB Motorsports, all the Limited Late Model contingency sponsors, and my entire crew and my crew chief Joe Brockett for their support and help.”
