OSWEGO, NY… The GTR Promotions Super Stock track championship will be decided on Friday, August 28thwith the running of the Dave London Memorial XVII to kick off the 69th International Classic Weekend.
Heading into the DLM, Garrett Zacharias has a 25-point lead over Johnny Bennett. Bennett has two wins so far in 2025, and Zacharias has one. Defending DLM champion Andy Cryan is just 26 points out of the lead. Barrett Schenk 36 points back, and Jimmy Steffenhagen is 38 markers behind Zacharias. So far in 2025, 27 different Super Stocks have received points in racing competition at Oswego. The point standings are available online at www.oswegospeedway.com
Next up for the Super Stocks will be the Dave London Memorial XVII on Friday, August 28 under the lights to kick off the 69th International Classic Weekend. Joining the Super Stocks will be the New York State Compact Championship and time trials for the Supermodifieds and Small Block Supermodifieds.
Qualifying races for the Dave London Memorial, the Xtra Money Race for Sportsman Modifieds, and the New York State Compact Championship will be held at numerous tracks in the northeast, including Chemung Speedrome, Evergreen Raceway, Lancaster Motorplex, and more.
