FONDA, NY – A thrilling night of live and local stock car racing for just $1?
It’s happening this Saturday night (May 16) at Fonda Speedway.
Metro Ford of Schenectady presents the annual Dollar Night at the Track of Champions featuring $1 grandstand admission this Saturday. Yes, grandstand admission is just $1.
The powerful Amsterdam Truck Center Modifieds headline the program, joined by the Swagger Factory Apparel Sportsman, Leatherstocking Credit Union Pro Stocks, Montgomery County Office for Aging Inc. Limited Sportsman and Fonda Fair Four Cylinders.
A wild-and-crazy 50-lap Enduro will serve as the nightcap.
After two completed events in 2026, handicapping will be utilized to determine starting positions for all weekly divisions.
Point leaders are currently Stewart Friesen (Modified), Tyler Peet (Sportsman), Kenny Gates (Pro Stock), Brian Nelson (Limited Sportsman), Stephen Burka (Four Cylinder – Dual Cam) and Dave Reedy (Four Cylinder – Single Cam).
All grandstand admission is just $1. Kids 11 and under are FREE.
Infield Drive-In admission is $30 and includes four passes.

Pit admission is $40 (Non-Members), $35 (Members) and $10 (Kids ages 11 and under).
Early pit pass sales begin at 2 p.m. All gates open at 4 p.m., with hot laps at 6 p.m. and racing at 7 p.m.

The Track of Champions Fonda Speedway has hosted the best in stock car racing for 75 seasons. The speedway operates weekly on Saturday nights from April through August plus several special events.
