T.P. TRAILERS & TRUCK EQUIPMENT MODIFIED TWIN 25’s PROGRAM RESCHEDULED FOR MAY 30
SATURDAY MAY 16 NASCAR MODIFIED & SPORTSMAN DOUBLE HEADER WILL START AT 6:30
BECHTELSVILLE, PA. – Morning rain to be followed by more during the afternoon hours, resulted in the cancellation of the racing program for Saturday, May 9 at Grandview Speedway.
With rain arriving in the Berks County region by mid-morning, more rain was forecast to continue throughout the afternoon until race time, leaving no time for track preparation for the evening’s racing program on Saturday night.
This was the second rain out in the last three weeks at Grandview, after recording the first three races of the year into the record books during the month of April with outstanding weather conditions.
Saturday’s race program was to host TWIN 25-LAP FEATURES for the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Modifieds along with a complete program for the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Sportsman, but due to the rain out, this special event of TWIN 25’s for the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Modifieds has been rescheduled to Saturday, May 30.
Attention now turns to next Saturday, May 16 for another program of racing under the NASCAR Local Racing Series Powered by O’Reilly Auto Parts banner for the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Modifieds and the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Sportsman.
There will be qualifying races for both divisions leading up to the 30-lap T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Modified and 25-lap T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Sportsman feature events.
Race time on Saturday night will move to 6:30 pm. Pit gates open at 3:30 pm, grandstand gates open at 4:30 pm, followed by warm-ups at 5:30 pm.
Grandstand admission for adults is $20, students 10-15 with ID are $10, while children ages 9 and under are admitted free. Pit admission is $35 for NASCAR members, and $45 for non-members.
Advance tickets for the Thunder on the Hill Racing Series opener featuring the Kyle Larson/Brad Sweet Interstate Batteries High Limit 410 Sprint Car Series on Tuesday, May 19 (rain date May 20) can be ordered now at HIGHLIMITRACING.COM. This event is presented by Levan Machine & Truck Equipment and RICH MAR Florist.
On Tuesday, May 19, grandstand gates will open at 4:30 pm for Advance ticket holders, with general admission tickets going on sale at 5 pm at the main entrance. Following opening ceremonies, heat race qualifying will take the green flag at 7:35 pm.
Since the 1960’s, Grandview Speedway has been presenting exciting wheel to wheel NASCAR stock car racing every Saturday Night starting in April and running through October, plus special events.
