FONDA, NY – After a break for the month of April, the Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series (STSS) Fueled By Sunoco returns to action in a big way.
Three events are set for May.
First up, the series makes its highly anticipated debut at Lebanon Valley Speedway in West Lebanon, N.Y., on Thursday, May 21 with the inaugural King of Spring featuring Round No. 1 of the HYTORC of New York STSS Modified North Region and the Madsen Overhead Doors Inc. STSS Sportsman North Region.
STSS Modifieds race 40 laps for a $7,000 top prize and $700 to take the green flag.
STSS Sportsman compete in the Refuse2Lose 24-lap event in memory of Bobby Chalmers with $2,400 going to the winner in addition to thousands in lap and bonus money.
N.Y.’s Brookfield Speedway, a historic quarter-mile oval on the Madison County Fairgrounds, holds its traditional Memorial Day Weekend event on Sunday, May 24 with the Fast Cars & Freedom, Round No. 2 of the Madsen Overhead Doors Inc. STSS Sportsman North Region.
STSS Sportsman will compete for $1,500 to win in a 25-lap feature.
An event adored by fans takes place on Tuesday, May 26 with the Berks County Brawl at Action Track USA in Kutztown, Pa. The NJ Quality Drywall STSS Modified South Region returns for the first time since March with a 50-lap, $5,000-to-win main event and fully paid B-Main.
