FONDA, NY – On to the next.
After rain nixed the Saturday, May 23 program at Fonda Speedway, attention turns to the next event on May 30 when Wilcox Construction LLC presents the only 2026 appearance by the A-Verdi Storage Containers CRSA Sprint Cars.
A complete program of live and local stock car racing is planned for the Amsterdam Truck Center Modifieds, Swagger Factory Apparel Sportsman, Leatherstocking Credit Union Pro Stocks, Montgomery County Office for Aging Inc. Limited Sportsman and Fonda Fair Four Cylinders.
CRSA Sprint Cars will compete in Round No. 1 of the I-90 Pit Stop Challenge at the Track of Champions.
Due to the extremely wet string, CRSA Sprint Cars have only completed a single event in ’26 at Outlaw Speedway in Dundee, N.Y., May 8. Mikey Smith won over a stout 31-car field.
CRSA Sprints did not compete at Fonda in ’25. The most recent stop along the Mohawk River was July 27, 2024.
Early pit pass sales begin at 2 p.m. Pit gates open at 4 p.m., with hot laps at 6 p.m. and racing to follow.
Grandstand admission is $20. Seniors (ages 65 and over) pay $18. Kids 11 and under are FREE.
Infield admission is $90 and includes four passes.

Pit admission is $40 (Non-Members), $35 (Members) and $10 (Kids ages 11 and under).

The Track of Champions Fonda Speedway has hosted the best in stock car racing for 75 seasons. The speedway operates weekly on Saturday nights from April through August plus several special events.
