(Butler Township, Pa. 6-7-26) Rich Tobias is a master promoter when it comes to his highly popular dirt track shows at both the Action Track USA in Kutztown and The Speedway at Pagoda Motorcycle Club near Birdsboro.

His intent has always been to give fans a great and entertaining racing program that leaves them coming back for more and he proves that time and again.

And the innovative mind of Tobias never rests on his laurels and that’s why he is ready to take on the pavement of Evergreen Raceway in St. Johns this upcoming Sunday, June 14 with “Thrills in the Hills.”

Tobias will headline the afternoon show with the stars and cars of the River Valley Builders SpeedSTRs that will see such standouts as Briggs Danner, Steven Drivicki, Matt Janisch, Earl Paules, Bobby Butler and more take on the 1/3-mile paved oval.

For Danner, it will be the kickstart of a busy week as the USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship Eastern Storm Tour will be in the region starting that week. Danner is one of the top racers with USAC and heads into Evergreen as the most recent SpeedSTR winner, scoring his career first asphalt win late last season here.

Matt Janisch was also a SpeedSTR winner at Evergreen under Tobias and has this place well-figured out, having won several times with TQ midgets.

The SpeedSTR line-up won’t just be limited to dirt racers either. “The Hurricane” Earl Paules has won 24 times at Evergreen and is a past Modified champion. His 92 overall wins is the third highest among all drivers on the eastern Pennsylvania asphalt circuit.

Joining the SpeedSTRs will be Evergreen’s 602 Crate Modifieds, Harry’s U-Pull-It Street Stocks and Himmer Graphics Four Cylinders. Also on the card will be the Tobias Slingshots and rounding out the afternoon speed-bill are the East Coast TQ Midgets.

Adult general admission is $15. Students 12-6 are $5 and kids 5 and under are free.

Pits are $40 all ages. Pits open at 10:00 am.

Warm-up will start at 12:30 pm with racing to follow.
