CLAREMONT, N.H. — Gabe Brown came, and Gabe Brown conquered.

The driver of the Dale Shaw Race Cars No. 61 showed up to Sunday’s Granite State Pro Stock Series race at Claremont Motorsports Park with one goal in mind: celebrate a championship by winning the season-finale. And in the end, he did just that. Brown drove the car to a dominating victory in the feature, taking the lead early and never looking back in the King’s Electric 100, worth $4,000 to win.

It was the third victory of the year for the rising star and his second at Claremont. Brown finished the season with two consecutive series wins at Lee USA Speedway’s Oktoberfest and Claremont’s Fall Challenge.

“We made a lot of improvements from the last time we were here at Claremont and the car was really good,” Brown said. “I’m thankful for everything that everyone has done for me this year. My mom, my dad… everyone that has made this possible. It’s insane.”

Behind Brown, Luke Hinkley charged to the front to finish second, passing for the runner-up spot in the final laps. Cody LeBlanc, a Mini Stock standout, drove a car out of the Gabe Brown Racing stable and finished third, while former rookie contender Casey Call and Brian Whalley finished the top-five.

“Gabe was just better than us tonight,” Hinkley said. “I have to thank all of my crew that helps me out and makes it all possible for me.”

Jeremy Sorel was sixth, followed by Frank Letoile Jr., Richie Brown, Josh King and Tyler Tomassi, who rounded out the top-10.

The Granite State Pro Stock Series season is now complete. More information on future events and the 2022 schedule will be released over the winter months. For more information on the Granite State Pro Stock Series visit gspss.net and follow the series on social media for the latest updates.
