N. Woodstock, NH — White Mountain Motorsports Park officials are excited to announce that the New England Pro-4 Modifieds will make the trip up Route 3 to test their skills at New Hampshire’s Premier Short Track Facility.
Although short on cylinders and slightly scaled down from their Tour-type brethren, the Pro 4 Modifieds have been tearing up New England short tracks for years providing fast paced entertainment on a budget. With cost-effective measures that include smaller chassis and tires, a simple rule book and the use of 4 & 6-cylinder engines, the Pro 4’s are just as fast and exciting as the Big and Bad ‘Ground Pounders’ on a more Mom and Pop, Blue Collar budget.
“We’ve been able to work with the New England Pro 4 Modifieds at Thompson Speedway the last few years, and we’ve finally been able to get together and make this work,” White Mountain managing partner Cris Michaud said. “The Pro 4’s are something fun and different that, we feel, the fans are really going to enjoy once they take the green on July 15th!”
The New England Pro 4 Modifieds have been added to the Friday night Open Wheel Special on July 15th joining the NE Big-Block Super Modified Series and the PASS Modifieds. This action-packed Open Wheel Special is the first of its kind at White Mountain Motorsports Park and sets the stage for an epic Saturday-night showdown with the Pro All Stars Series Super Late Model 150, Foley Oil & Propane Late Models, Wells River Chevrolet Flying Tigers and Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank Strictly Stock Mini’s.
White Mountain Motorsports Park opens the 2022 campaign with a 30th Season Doubleheader Weekend on May 14 and 15. Saturday, May 14 at 6:00pm is a four-division card with added-distance features for the Foley Oil & Propane Late Models, Wells River Chevrolet Flying Tigers, Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank Strictly Stock Mini’s, and Arnolds Wayside Diner Dwarf Cars. Sunday, May 15 at 1:00pm is the WMMP debut of the NE Big-Block Super Modified Series plus the PASS Super Late Model 150, PASS Modifieds, Ammonoosuc Asphalt Mini Late Models, and Dads 4 By Tool & Supply Kids Division. The annual White Mountain Car Show is also on Saturday from 10:00am to 1:00pm. Pricing and other information are to be announced.
The New England Pro 4 Modifieds currently have a packed 13-race schedule for 2022 across New Hampshire and Connecticut including marquee events at Lee USA Speedway, the Sunoco World Series at Thompson Speedway and alongside the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour.
