SCHEDULED DATES SET FOR 67th SEASON OF RACING AT SPENCER SPEEDWAY

Williamson, New York (January 30, 2022) – The 67th season of stock car racing action at Spencer Speedway in Williamson, N.Y., is shaping up to be an exciting one following the remarkable 2021 season.

Following the pattern of the 2019 season, six events will give teams from throughout the region an opportunity to compete in several premier events at the half-mile speed plant entertaining fans throughout the area.

The Race of Champions Family of Series will once again highlight the schedule, with the Race of Champions Modified Series making three appearances at the facility. The Race of Champions Sportsman Modifieds will appear on four occasions while the Race of Champions Super Stocks will take to the facility five times. As publicized last year, the Race of Champions Late Model Series will participate twice during the 2022 campaign. The Wilbert’s U-Pull It Super Six and Wilbert’s U-Pull It Four Cylinders will once again be featured during many events.

The Spencer Speedway presented by Wilbert’s U-Pull It schedule for the 2022 season is;

Friday, June 3  – 67th Annual Spencer Speedway Opener – Race of Champions Modified Series – 40-laps $4,000-to-Win.

Friday, June 17 – Race of Champions Sportsman Modified Series

Friday, July 1 – Race of Champions Modified Series – 50-laps $5,000-to-Win.

Friday, August 5 – Race of Champions Sportsman Modified Series

Friday, August 19 – Race of Champions Sportsman Modifieds

Friday, September 2 – Race of Champions Modified Series – 67-laps $6,000-to-Win.

The remainder of the schedule for each night will be filled in the coming weeks. Each Friday will once again host the “Food Truck Frenzy” along with support from local municipalities.

While purse and race information will be released for the Race of Champions divisions separately, Wilbert’s U-Pull It Four Cylinder competitors will race for a minimum of $175-to-win and $50-to-start. The Wilbert’s Super Six Series races will pay $150-to-win and $50-to-start.

Ticketing information, along with the ability for fans to purchase tickets electronically for the first time in the 67-year history of the facility will be released in the near future for all Spencer Speedway events.
