Mahoning Valley Speedway Sunday Start Time Moved Up One Hour

Trying to beat the forecasted late day showers, Mahoning Valley Speedway has revised its schedule for the Tom Wanick Jr., Memorial 150. A big field of over 30 Modifieds will look to take home the winners’ share of $7,000 and Mahoning looks to get it all in on Sunday the 22nd.

Revised schedule May 22nd, 2022, Mahoning Valley Speedway

8: 00 am   Pit gates open $50 pp … Modified car registration $150 if not already pre-registered
9:00 am – 9:55 am   Driver sign-ins

NOTE: Any driver who misses sign-ins will start at rear of heat race.

Transponder fee   $6 if you have your own; $12 for track rental. Must have a valid driver’s license

10:00 am – 11am Modified tire sales only during this time frame

NOTE: Modified teams must fill out tire sheets with serial #’s

11:00 am Warm-ups Hobby Stocks. Modified Street Stocks

11am– Grandstands open $25 per person (no discounts) …kids 10 and under are free

12:40pm – Mandatory drivers meeting at staging area

12:50 pm – Call first heat to staging area

12:55 pm – National Anthem

1:00 pm – Start of heats

            Modifieds (radios allowed…no mirrors)

            Street Stocks

Modified consi

Hobby Stocks

            Modified non-qualifiers race (if 40+ cars are signed in)

            NOTE: In the event of no non-qualifier Modified consi will move to end of heats

            Street Stock & Hobby Stock consi’s (if needed)      

INTERMISSION

Modified Fanfest on front straight + Modified redraw (top-20 from heats)

FEATURES  

Street Stocks – 30 laps

Modifieds – 150 laps

Hobby Stocks – 25 laps

NOTE: Top 2 Street Stocks and Hobby Stocks from heats and top 5 from features must go to scales afterwards

All Modifieds that qualify from heats must go to scales afterwards     

              Modified qualified cars scale before start of feature
