DELMAR, DE – The excitement continues.

After a rousing dirt-track opener on March 31, Delaware International Speedway fires back to life this Wednesday, April 12 with the Millman’s NAPA Auto Parts Modifieds returning to the half-mile oval.

NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series points will be on the line for the big-block/small-block Modified contingent, with a $4,000 winner’s share awaiting at the conclusion of 30 laps. Speedway promoter BD Motorsports Media LLC will reward the runner-up with $2,500 and third place with $1,250.

An additional bonus is on the line: the Modified winner on Wednesday will receive a guaranteed starting position for the ‘Speed Showcase’ paying $50,000 to win and $1,000 to take the green flag at Pa.’s Port Royal Speedway in October.

The top-finishing PA/NJ Spec small-block driver will also take home a $250 bonus.

Short Track Super Series rules are in effect with a draw/redraw format. American Racer tire rule is as follows: 48 or harder right-rear; 44 or harder left-rear; 38 or harder right-front; open left-front.

Double-file restarts will be in effect for qualifying. Double-file restarts in the feature event until five laps to go.

The Hovis RUSH Late Model Series opens its four-night ‘Battle of the Bay’ with a $3,000-to-win, 30-lap event. The RUSH contingent competes at Delaware International Wednesday, neighboring Georgetown Speedway Thursday, Potomac Speedway in Budd’s Creek, Md., on Friday and Va.’s Winchester Speedway on Saturday.

More than 40 RUSH Late Models are expected for the four-night swing.

Little Lincolns, Delaware Super Trucks and Delmarva Chargers – all in 12-lap features – complete the Wednesday night program.

Ticket Booth No. 1 will open at 3 p.m. for early pit admission.

Gates open at 4:30 p.m., with hot laps at 6:20 p.m. and racing at 7:15 p.m.

Adult admission is $25, with a $20 Senior (ages 65 and up) and Student (ages 13-17) price, $10 for Kids (ages 9-12) and Children 8 and under FREE.

Pit Admission is $40, $35 for NASCAR Members, $10 for Kids (ages 6-12) and $2 for Children ages 5 and under.

All Delaware International events in 2023 will be broadcast live on FloRacing (www.floracing.tv) with the $150 annual subscription.
