N. Woodstock, NH — After officials remained hopeful that the morning would bring with it a better outlook, Saturday’s persistent forecast continues to be unstable over White Mountain Motorsports Park. With the forecast calling for rain and sporadic thunderstorms, and with the traveling NELCAR teams in mind, White Mountain officials have opted to cancel the evening’s racing activities. Officials will discuss options for moving both the NELCAR Legends and Bandoleros and the Foley Oil & Propane activities to different dates and release any pertinent information to teams and fans next week. There will be no racing at White Mountain on Saturday, June 8.

“It’s unfortunate because we felt White Mountain had some great momentum going into this weekend but Mother Nature had other plans,” said WMMP managing partner Cris Michaud. “We’ll regroup as we always do and look forward to next weekend’s Father’s Day special for the Strictly Minis.”

White Mountain Motorsports Park returns to action on Saturday, June 15 headlined by the Father’s Day Special 50-lapper for the Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank Strictly Stock Minis! Along with the Foley Oil & Propane Late Models, Fisher Auto Parts Flying Tigers, Wayne’s Market Dwarf Cars and Dads 4 By Tool & Supply Kids Division, Saturday, June 15 will be a Father’s Day to remember at New Hampshire’s Favorite Short Track with a 6:00pm Post Time!
