N. Woodstock, NH — White Mountain Motorsports Park and American-Canadian Tour officials announced today an exciting addition to the summer schedule at New Hampshire’s Favorite Short Track with the new Prelude to the Midsummer Classic on Sunday, July 14. The Prelude is a non-point, 75-lap qualifier event for the 7th annual Milton CAT Midsummer Classic 250 American-Canadian Tour scheduled for Saturday, August 3.
The Prelude to the Midsummer Classic will be a 75-lap affair during an action-packed Sunday, July 14 at White Mountain alongside the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) Super Late Models, PASS Modifieds and the New England Supermodified Series (NESS). The Prelude to the Midsummer Classic is a non-point event and open to any American-Canadian Tour Late Model team to join. As a qualifier race, the first non-qualified car who participates in the Prelude on July 14 will earn a provisional for the Milton CAT Midsummer Classic 250 on August 3 following heat race, consolation and B-Feature races.
“The Milton CAT Midsummer Classic 250 continues to grow and grow, increasingly becoming one of the hardest events to qualify for, not only on the American-Canadian Tour but across North America,” said ACT managing partner Cris Michaud. “We wanted to offer a qualifier event open to all ACT Late Model teams across the region, especially to those who are intimidated by the tough qualifying that will certainly play another big role in this year’s event.”
The Prelude to the Midsummer Classic qualifier for the Milton CAT Midsummer Classic 250 is set to join an already action-packed showcase on Sunday, July 14 at White Mountain Motorsports Park. The four division showdown will also include the PASS Super Late Model 150, NESS Supermodifieds and the continuation of the Weston’s Automotive Series for the PASS Modifieds!
New Hampshire’s Favorite Short Track is back in action next Saturday night, June 8 for Foley Oil & Propane Night! Headlined by the Foley Oil & Propane Late Model Special, with a $1,000 bonus to Saturday’s Late Model winner on the line, and the first of two visits for the NELCAR Legend Tour and Bandoleros! Continued track championship action from the Flying Tigers, Strictly Minis, Mini Late Models and Dwarf Cars will also fill out an exciting seven division card on Saturday, June 8 at White Mountain Motorsports Park!
