Barre, VT — After months of research and testing throughout the 2024 season, American-Canadian Tour officials have released today an updated plan for continued loyalty to the Crate Engine Program that has been a driving success in the ACT Late Models. An ACT-approved GM 604 engine is now available for purchase through the American-Canadian Tour offices in Barre, Vermont by contacting managing partner Cris Michaud via email at cris@acttour.com.
With testing taking place in weekly racing action at Barre’s Thunder Road Speedbowl and North Woodstock, New Hampshire’s White Mountain Motorsports Park, as well as select American-Canadian Tour events this summer, ACT technical staff utilized different combinations to create a compatible package to the GM 602, GM 603 and Ford S347JR options allowed under the ACT Rule Book.
This ACT-sealed GM 604 crate engine package is only available for purchase through the American-Canadian Tour office located in Barre, Vermont. Interested parties can place their orders by emailing ACT managing partner Cris Michaud at cris@acttour.com.
The American-Canadian Tour returns to action on Saturday, August 24 with the Oxford Plains 125, headlining the Saturday Night Before the Oxford 250 program at Maine’s Oxford Plains Speedway.
