(Butler Township PA 1-1-25) Evergreen Raceway will start 2025 rolling with its first on track action set to take place on Saturday afternoon, February 22 at 1:00 pm, with a 100-lap/4-6 cylinder Gut-n-Go Enduro, plus an 8-cylinder Enduro feature.

This will be the first of several Enduro events that will be earmarked on this year’s race schedule, which is still in the planning stages.

And, at just $5 grandstand general admission, it lends itself to being an affordable and fun way to spend an afternoon and begin to get a feel for another exciting season of asphalt racing at the 1/3-mile paved oval.

“Enduro’s have become a staple with us at Evergreen over the years and we have always done well with the early season shows too as many of the guys are anxious to get in some track time before the start of the regular season begins,” said Evergreen promoter/owner Jason Makarewicz.

“Our February Enduro is a great way to break up the winter blues and spend the afternoon with us plus at just $5 we want our fans to see that we are starting off the new year by once again making it very reasonable to come out to Evergreen Raceway.”

In 2024 there were six Enduro’s run with TJ Kapish and Harry O’Neill winning a pair each. Mark Spencer and Michael Klotz also scored victories. Larry Spencer III likewise took a checkered flag during the June race in which the Four Cylinder Stocks combined with the Enduro cars but scored separately. Spencer was the overall winner that day.

When O’Neill won on June15, he snapped a tie with Sam Ryan and became the all-time Enduro winner with four-cylinder cars at 11 triumphs. Interestingly he and Kapish are currently tied with a combined 36 overall Evergreen career feature wins apiece, 32 shared amongst them in Enduro class races.

The February 22, 4/6-cylinder feature will pay $600 to win. The top-10 finishers will all be awarded at the payout window as well. The 8-cylinder Enduro distance and payout will be based on car counts.

Pits will open at 11:00 am with racing beginning at 1:00 pm. Pit admission is $30 per person and $40 to register each Enduro car. Grandstands will open at noon.

A second 4/6-cylinder Gut-n-Go Enduro is scheduled for Saturday afternoon, March 22.
