OSWEGO, NY (March 4, 2025) – As anticipation builds for the 2025 racing season, Oswego Speedway is set to return to the 36th annual Syracuse Motorsports Expo on March 8 and 9 at the New York State Fairgrounds Center of Progress Building. Headlining the Speedway’s display will be the Mike Bruce-driven No. 22 Supermodified, alongside his 350 Super. Bruce holds the distinction of being the only driver in Oswego Speedway history to win a feature in all three divisions – Novelis Supermodifieds, Pathfinder Bank SBS, and J&S Paving 350 Supers.
Joining Bruce in the display will be the Sport Mod driven by 2024 J&S Paving 350 Supermodified track champion Josh Sokolic, the Teej Cochrane Super Stock, and Tony Pettinelli’s Sport Compact, promoting the GTR Promotions events on Bud Classic Weekend 69. Also featured will be Oswego Speedway’s popular 2-Seat Supermodified, which will be available for rides once again in 2025, with more details to be announced soon.
Fans attending the Expo will have the opportunity to pick up the 2025 Oswego Speedway schedule, marketing guide, and watch highlights from the 2024 race season. Official Speedway merchandise will also be available for purchase throughout the weekend.
The 74th season at Oswego Speedway will open in spectacular fashion with the Opening Week Extravaganza, spanning two consecutive Saturdays. The May 24 event will feature the Oswego Super Challenge Series Opener for the ISMA/MSS Winged Supermodifieds, alongside the Pathfinder Bank SBS and J&S Paving 350 Supermodifieds. The following weekend, May 31, will mark the start of the Oswego Novelis Supermodifieds’ 2025 points season with the 60-lap Jim Shampine Memorial, joined by the Pathfinder Bank SBS and the J&S Paving 350 Winged Supermodifieds. Information on camping and driver registration for the 2025 season will be available soon.
The Syracuse Motorsports Expo runs Saturday, March 8 from 10am to 8pm and Sunday, March 9 from 11am to 4pm. Admission is $15 for adults, $25 for a two-day pass, $5 for children ages 6-12, and FREE for kids 5 and under.
