Sophia, NC – [October 6, 2025] – Caraway Speedway is excited to announce the addition of Crown Vics to the 2025 North-South Shootout. Scheduled for Friday, November 7, 2025, the North vs. South – Crown Vic Clash will be a 40-lap event with up to $5,000 to win.
“With Crown Vic divisions running from Maine to Florida, it made sense to add this growing class to an event already known for pitting northern and southern competitors against each other,” said Caraway Speedway owner and promoter Darren Hackett.
It’s the rivalry, reloaded.
Crown Vic racing continues to grow in popularity at short tracks nationwide. Fans enjoy the close, wheel-to-wheel action, while drivers appreciate the challenge of these heavy, nearly stock, full-bodied cars. With competitive racing and plenty of surprises, Crown Vics have become a fan and driver favorite—and a regular division at Caraway.
The “Rivalry Reloaded: North vs. South – Crown Vic Clash” will be run under Freedom Factory Series 2025 Crown Vic rules. Qualifying and feature racing will take place on Friday, November 7, with optional practice and inspection on Thursday, November 6. A full schedule will be available at CarawaySpeedway.com
The purse structure for the event includes $3,000 to the winner, with a $1,000 bonus if the field reaches 20 or more cars, and an additional $1,000 if the field exceeds 35 entries. The event will pay $100 to take the green. Entry fees are $100 through October 31, 2025, and $150 after that date.
Teams and fans are encouraged to take advantage of special group rates at Hampton Inn and Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Asheboro.
