GRANDVIEW SPEEDWAY TO HOST THREE-DIVISION PROGRAM WITH MODIFIEDS-SPORTSMAN-KEYSTONE SPORT COMPACT SERIES STARTING AT 6 PM THIS SATURDAY

TWIN 25 LAP T.P. TRAILERS & TRUCK EQUIPMENT MODIFIED FEATURES SET FOR MAY 9

BECHTELSVILLE, PA. – With three racing programs already put into the record books this season, Grandview Speedway is ready to go with the first triple-header program of the year this Saturday night.

This Saturday, May 2 will be another program of racing under the NASCAR Local Racing Series Powered by O’Reilly Auto Parts banner for the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Modifieds and the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Sportsman plus the first visit of the year by the Keystone Sports Compact Series who are sponsored by Hoffman Speed Supplies/Hoffman Discount Parts.

There will be qualifying races to begin the program leading up to the 30-lap T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Modified, 25-lap T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Sportsman, and 25-lap Keystone Sport Compact Series Four Cylinder feature events.

RACE TIME THIS SATURDAY NIGHT WILL RETURN TO 6 pm, with pit gates opening at 3 pm, grandstand gates opening at 4 pm, followed by warm-ups at 5 pm.

Grandstand admission for adults is $20, students 10-15 with ID are $10, while children ages 9 and under are admitted free. Pit admission is $35 for NASCAR members, and $45 for non-members.

In addition, this Saturday night prior to the racing program will be the weekly meet and greet, presented by Low Down Entertainment and hosted by Brittany Huber and Jennifer Umbenhauer. This week’s drivers who will be on hand with their cars to participate include Modified drivers Eddie Strada and Cody Manmiller, along with Sportsman driver Mark Behm.

The pre-race Meet and Greet is held in the main gate area from 3:30 to 4:30 pm and is a great time for fans to meet the drivers up close, collect some autographs, take photos, and talk racing with their favorite drivers before the night’s program gets underway. Also included in the Meet & Greet will be Little Miss Grandview with crayons and coloring pages for the kids!

It will be the third consecutive season that the Keystone Sports Compact Series sponsored by Hoffman Speed Supplies/Hoffman Discount Parts, will be making a Saturday night visit to Grandview Speedway, with Dan Stein Jr. winning the 2024 event, and Adam Kratzer scoring the win last season.

The second special event of the season for the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Modifieds will be coming up next Saturday, May 9, with the presentation of TWIN 25-LAP MODIFIED FEATURES! This program will be Checkered Flag Fan Club night and include the usual slate of qualifying events leading into the twin features, plus a full show for the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Sportsman.

Advance tickets for the Thunder on the Hill Racing Series opener featuring the Kyle Larson/Brad Sweet Interstate Batteries High Limit 410 Sprint Car Series on Tuesday, May 19 (rain date May 20) can be ordered now at HIGHLIMITRACING.COM.   This event is presented by Levan Machine & Truck Equipment and RICH MAR Florist.   

On Tuesday, May 19, grandstand gates will open at 4:30 pm for Advance ticket holders, with general admission tickets going on sale at 5 pm at the main entrance.   Following opening ceremonies, heat race qualifying will take the green flag at 7:35 pm.  

With three events completed this season, no one has been able to reach victory lane more than once in the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Modified division, with Louden Reimert, Jared Umbenhauer and Duane Howard all picking up a win so far.

These three drivers will be in action this Saturday night looking to repeat, while other top point drivers like Eddie Strada, Rick Laubach, Jeff Strunk, Anthony Perrego, Brett Kressley, Tim Buckwalter, Mike Gular, Brandon & Justin Grosso, Ryan & Logan Watt, Craig Von Dohren, Kyle Smith, and over three dozen drivers will all be looking to reach the winner’s circle.

Three different drivers have made it to the winner’s circle in the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Sportsman division, with Brad Brightbill and two first time Grandview feature winners in Bryce Bashore and Mike Toth picking up the checkered flags.

In addition to our three winners, top point contenders including Addison Meitzler, Joe Toth, Colin Cox, Jimmy Leiby, Adrianna Delliponti, TJ Mayberry, Matthew Laubach, Brett & Kenny Gilmore, Brett Grim, Decker Swinehart, Gavyn Krupp, Joey Vaccaro, Ebby Ridge, Johnny Fugelo, Stephen Smith III, and three dozen drivers will be fighting for a checkered flag this Saturday night.

Since the 1960’s, Grandview Speedway has been presenting exciting wheel to wheel NASCAR stock car racing every Saturday Night starting in April and running through October, plus special events.
