There’s more action on the way as the 2026 local racing schedule continues – Saturday, June 20th – at Peterborough Speedway.
Weekly divisions include the home track Battlefield Equipment Rental Bone Stock, Trent Lakes Complete Plumbing Renegade Truck, Late Model and Nadeau’s Collision Service Junior Late Model divisions, the line-up will also feature the Can Am TQ Midgets, with Kid’s Bike Races as the intermission attraction. Spectator gates open at 5:00, with the first Great Canadian RV green flag at 6:00.
This weekend, Peterborough Speedway also welcomes an Autism Awareness Night, in support of CNAF, the Canadian National Autism Foundation. Kid’s Race was started in 2010 as an idea to create a new platform for Autism research and awareness. It wasn’t too long after speaking with – and working alongside track owners, officials, drivers, crews and fans – that a common bond was formed. Everyone associated with the event quickly realized that passion, dedication, family and a love for what they do is something that everyone shared.
“Our drivers, teams, crew members, sponsors and fans are quick to throw their support behind a worthwhile cause,” said track owner and promoter J.P. Josiasse said. “Even if a member of your immediate family hasn’t been affected by autism, you probably know someone who has. Whatever you can do to help the Canadian National Autism Foundation is a win-win for everyone involved,”

Before the end of the month, the popular Central Ontario oval will host the year’s 2nd Double Toonie/Fan Appreciation Night – presented by Pepsi – Saturday, June 27th. With $4.00 spectator grandstand admission, the raceday line-up will include Mini Stock, Super Stock, Late Model and Junior Late Model divisions, plus the Trailers Plus Ontario Legend Car Series. The mid-race break will include a trackside autograph session. Grandstand gates open at 4:00, with racing at 5:00.
