Wall Township, NJ – After a week off following the Hall of Fame 100, the NASCAR Modifieds are back in action this coming Saturday, August 15th at Wall Stadium on Ocean Orthopedic Associates Night competing in a 40-lap event.
Going into Saturday night there is a tie on top of the NASCAR Modified point standings between a pair of two-time winners Steven Reed and Blake Barney with 356 a piece. James Blewett sits third just 35 back, his dad Jimmy Blewett is fourth 37 off of the lead while defending champion Tyler Truex is fifth 66 out of the lead.
In addition to the NASCAR Modifieds, the O’Shea’s Auto Repair Factory Stocks will compete in Twin 20 lap main events that will see the Surfside Collision 4-Cylinders and ATQMRA TQ Midgets complete the racing card.
Pit gates will open at 2pm, grandstand turnstiles will unlock at 4pm as practice begins. Qualifying is set for 6pm with features hitting the track at 7:30pm.
Adult (18+) admission is $25, Seniors and Military w/ID are $20, Kids (7-17) are $15 with Children 6 & Under being FREE.
The NASCAR Modifieds will return for action on August 22nd with First Responders Night sponsored by Air & Gas Technologies with another 40 lapper. Also in competition that night will be the NASCAR Sportsman, Surfside Collision 4-Cylinders and Natural Design Co. Legend Cars.
Then all attention will turn to the John Blewett Memorial 176 for the Tour-Type Modifieds on August 29th. The powerful Tour-Type Modifieds will go 176 laps for $7,600 to win and $760 just to start the feature event.
Some of the early names that have indicated attendance include Matt Hirschman, Austin Beers, Trevor Catalano, Jack Ely, Timmy Solomito, Danny Bohn, Blake Barney, Ricky Collins, James Blewett, Eddie McCarthy, Kyle Scisco and more. A special rain date of Sunday, August 30th has been set aside just in case.
Completing the card on August 29th will be the NASCAR Sportsman, Surfside Collision 4-Cylinders and Natural Design Co. Legend Cars. Tickets are on sale now at wall-stadium.com.
