Bullring Bash to Debut 3-Event Slate of Modified and Legends Events in 2019

Attleboro, MA (December 12, 2018) — Modified racing will return to White Mountain Motorsports Park (WMMP) and Thunder Road Speedbowl in 2019 with the inaugural Bullring Bash Quarter Mile Challenge. The promotion includes three brand new events that will feature many of the top Modified and Legends Cars drivers and teams in New England.

The Bullring Bash Quarter Mile Challenge brings Modified and Legends Cars racing back to an area of northern New England that has been asking for its return. The events will feature some of the highest paying purses and most unique racing formats in modern grassroots motorsports.

The first Bullring Bash event will take place on Sunday, June 16 at WMMP. It will be joined by previously announced events at WMMP on August 10, and Thunder Road Speedbowl on September 14.

“With the Bullring Bash Quarter Mile Challenge, we’re looking to take the promotion of Modified and Legends racing in New England to the next level,” said Bullring Bash founder Josh Vanada, a veteran of multiple national and regional motorsports promotions. “We’ve assembled a team of the most talented personnel available in order to put on three incredible events in 2019, and we’ll be racing at two of the most exciting facilities in New England in White Mountain Motorsports Park and Thunder Road Speedbowl. The stakes are high, and the intensity on-track will be even higher.” “We’re looking forward to hosting the Bullring Bash Quarter Mile Challenge at Thunder Road and WMMP,” said Cris Michaud, the co-owner of both tracks.

“It’s been a long time since Modifieds have raced at either facility, and a number of fans have told the various track management teams over the years that they hoped we would bring them back. We think the Bullring Bash is the right opportunity for us to do so.”

The three-event Bullring Bash calendar for the 2019 season is as follows:

•June 16, 2019: White Mountain Motorsports Park, North Woodstock, NH•August 10, 2019: White Mountain Motorsports Park, North Woodstock, NH•September 14, 2019: Thunder Road Speedbowl, Barre, VT

Ben Rowe best in Pro All Stars Super Late Model action at White Mountain Motorsports Park

North Woodstock, NH – Ben Rowe of Turner, Maine raced to his first Pro All Stars Series Super Late Model win of the year Saturday night at White Mountain Motorsports Park.  Rowe won for the tenth time in PASS Super Late Model competition on White Mountain’s high-banked, quarter-mile oval, by far the most in series history.

Rowe, the all-time PASS North leader in race victories. spent most of the race battling another multi-time series champion, Johnny Clark of Farmingdale, Maine, for the race lead.  Rowe’s final test was provided by Joey Pole, Jr. of Hudson, who mounted an impressive challenge after lining up 17th on the starting grid.

Pole earned runner-up honors, just ahead of Connecticut invader Dillon Moltz, who started dead last in the 150-lapper after changing engines in the pit area prior to the green flag.  Clark, a six-time PASS North Super Late Model titlist, ended up in fourth position, just ahead of recently-crowned Oxford Plains Speedway Super Late Model champion Gabe Brown of Center Conway, New Hampshire.

Brown’s mentor, reigning PASS North champion DJ Shaw of Center Conway, New Hampshire, padded his advantage atop the series’ points standings, finishing seven spots better than chief championship rival Travis Benjamin of Belfast, Maine.

Craig Weinstein of East Walpole, Mass., Reid Lanpher of Manchester, Maine, Derek Griffith of Hudson, New Hampshire and Derek Ramstrom of Worcester, Massachusetts rounded out the top ten.  Trevor Sanborn of East Parsonsfield, Maine was swapping the lead with Clark and Rowe before apparent tire misfortune relegated him to a 17th-place finish.

The next Pro All Stars Series North event is scheduled for Sunday, September 23 at 3:00 p.m.  at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway, located at 70 Holmes Road in Scarborough, Maine.  For more information please visit proallstartsseries.com or call (207) 539-8865.
