N. Woodstock, NH — After taking into consideration all weather-related apps, websites and forecasts at our disposal, officials at White Mountain Motorsports Park have made the decision to cancel tomorrow’s Spring Board 100 program. With rain forecasted to end at 6:00pm, with practice and track prep taking even more time, we cannot expect to get a full card of racing in at a reasonable time.
“It’s not only the 80-and-90% chance of rain for tomorrow on all these apps and websites,” said WMMP managing partner Cris Michaud, “We wanted to give our dedicated fans and teams the opportunity to enjoy their Memorial Day weekend without having to wait around in the rain and waste their Saturday.”
We encourage our fans and teams to take advantage of Sunday’s beautiful weather to make the trip over to Barre, Vermont’s Thunder Road for the Mekkelsen RV Memorial Day Classic. A two-for-one show with the 125-lap Late Model Classic plus the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series Granite City 100 with a $10,000 check bringing in some of the best Modified teams the Northeast has to offer!
The Spring Board 100 will be made up, a date will be released next week.
