Barre, VT — If you’ve driven over Route 3 or across the Kancamagus Highway in recent weeks, a telling sign has started to erupt from the limbs of trees along the way. With the changing seasons and the shifting colors comes a famous American-Canadian Tour tradition this Saturday, September 16th at White Mountain Motorsports Park. The 45th Fall Foliage 200 on Saturday also marks the sixth ACT and Pro All Stars Series (PASS) doubleheader of the 2023 season as the PASS Super Late Models, New England Supermodified Series and PASS Modifieds join in on the seasonal fun with the ACT championship coming down to the wire.
The Fall Foliage has been a Northeast tradition since 1974. The win’s list of icons includes both Bobby and Beaver Dragon, Ontario’s Don Biederman and Junior Hanley, Southeast super-stars L.D. Ottinger and Butch Lindley and a host of others including Cabana, Dion, Crouch, McCabe, Nason, Hoar, Cyr and Laperle. Now in its 45th edition, the Fall Foliage returns to White Mountain Motorsports Park for the second consecutive season.
Following a tough NEFCU Labor Day Classic at Thunder Road for the Touring regulars, Gabe Brown has come within two points of standings topper, and defending champion, D.J. Shaw. The next-door neighbors have been battling hard on the track over the past several events and show no signs of slowing as they enter a facility where they’ve both found continued success with just two events left on the calendar.
American-Canadian Tour rookies Tanner Woodard and Bryan Wall Jr. are ready to return to White Mountain, a track where they too have each seen success while fellow rookie ace Andrew Molleur would love nothing more than to bounce back from his up-and-down introduction at the Milton CAT 250 in August. Derek Gluchacki is looking for his first ACT win at White Mountain after taking all three Wall’s Ford Platinum Series events and the inaugural series crown last season. Jimmy Renfrew Jr. and Erick Sands are also both strong on the White Mountain highbanks with the facility being a favorite of the American-Canadian Tour faithful.
Defending the home turf will be Milton CAT Midsummer Classic 250 winner Jesse Switser as he looks to make it two-for-two and stay out of the Last Chance B-Feature this time around. 2023 White Mountain weekly winner Ryan Olsen has also entered the event along with Ammonoosuc Asphalt Mini Late Model point leader Cody LeBlanc along with a large field expected to take up the challenge.
The American-Canadian Tour returns to White Mountain Motorsports Park in North Woodstock, New Hampshire for the 45th running of the Fall Foliage 200. The action-packed showdown will feature an international pool of talent all gunning to join the likes of Butch Lindley, Jean-Paul Cabana, Dick McCabe and Junior Hanley in the record books. The epic Saturday afternoon line-up also includes the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) Super Late Models, the New England Supermodified Series, PASS Modifieds and the Fisher Auto Parts Flying Tigers. With a special 3:00pm Post Time, adult general admission is set at $35 with children 12-6 for $10 and kids 5 and under free!
