Barre, VT — Teams from across the twin state area of Vermont and New Hampshire have had the Cody Chevrolet-Cadillac Night at Thunder Road circled on their calendar since the announcement of the ACT Tri-State Flying Tiger Series! After starting off in May at White Mountain Motorsports Park, the ACT Tri-State Flying Tiger Series comes to Thunder Road for the 100-lap championship event in the Myers Container Service Triple Crown this Thursday, August 22.

East Thetford’s Brandon Gray claimed the opening round of the ACT Tri-State Series on May 19 at White Mountain Motorsports Park and looks to both take the Myers Container Service Triple Crown and maintain his lead in the Tri-State championship!  Gray currently sits two points behind tied-for-first frontrunners Jason Pelkey and Logan Powers in the three-race championship. All three remain winless in Myers Container Triple Crown competition and all three hope to put the power down and take the annual 100-lap Cody Chevrolet-Cadillac spectacular on Thursday!

Young Kaiden Fisher continues to stand tall on the Maplefield/Irving Late Model standings while fellow next-generation driver Jesse Laquerre has cemented a strong lead over Taylor Hoar in the Rookie of the Year battle following his first podium finish on Sunday. The competition has been some of the best in recent memory this summer with Nick Sweet’s victory just two days ago making the former champion the eleventh different winner in thirteen track championship events this season!

Dean Switser Jr. remains winless on the season but stubborn consistency keeps the Waterford driver high atop the rk Miles Street Stock standings in his search for a second-career championship at Thunder Road. Milton’s Trevor Jaques and Morrisville’s Zach Audet continue to pursue the lead, joining Switser in the back-to-front charge in each rk Miles Street Stock event that has averaged 28-starters this season!

Following Tyler Wheatley’s hard charge up through the field to claim the 6th annual 50-lap Challenge on Sunday, the Burnett Scrap Metals Road Warriors also return to Thursday Night action on Cody Chevrolet-Cadillac Night. Former Road Warrior hot-shoe Eric Chase, more affectionately known as simply ‘Pork’, drives the Cody Chevrolet-Cadillac Camaro pace car each week at The Road as the ultimate Mayer of the Road Warrior division. You may have to get his enlightened pick on who will take the checkers this Thursday in Thunder Road’s popular entry division!

Thunder Road returns to regularly scheduled racing action on Thursday, August 22 with Cody Chevrolet-Cadillac Night headlined by the 100-lap championship event for the Myers Container Service Triple Crown Series! The Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel Flying Tigers are once again the star of the show with Thursday’s 100-lapper also counting as Round #2 in the ACT Tri-State Flying Tiger Series! The Maplefield/Irving Late Models, rk Miles Street Stocks and Burnett Scrap Metals Road Warriors also return on Thursday with a 7:00pm post time! General admission for adults is set at $15, kids 12-6 are $5 with children 5 and under free! The Family Four Pack (two adults, two kids) will also be available for $30.
